Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply when you use TAP TAP MARKET — the website ttmarkett.com and the Market section of the TT Express app (together, the "Platform") — to browse, buy or sell products.

TAP TAP MARKET is operated by TAP TAP CHINA Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the Republic of Rwanda (company code 147590677), with its head office at KK 36 Ave, Gatenga, Kicukiro, Kigali, Rwanda.

By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, Refund Policy and Delivery Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who sells what

The Platform lists two kinds of products:

• TAP TAP MARKET products — sold by us, TAP TAP CHINA Ltd.
• Vendor products — sold by independent shops ("Vendors") that list their products on the Platform. The sale is between you and the Vendor; we run the Platform, take your payment on the Vendor's behalf, arrange delivery and handle support.

Either way, you deal with us: your order, payment, delivery, refunds and support all go through TAP TAP MARKET. If you want to know which shop sells a product, ask Support.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy on the Platform.
• Give accurate details (name, phone number, email address) and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• If you shop TAP TAP MARKET through the TT Express app, your TAP TAP MARKET account is created for you from your TT Express details the first time you open the Market tab.
• We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is used for fraud, abuse, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Products and prices

• We try to describe every product and show its pictures accurately. Colours and sizes on screen can differ slightly from the real item.
• Prices are in Rwandan francs (RWF). The checkout page shows the full amount you will pay — products, delivery and any handling fees — before you pay.
• We may change prices at any time. A price change does not affect an order you have already paid for.
• If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund what you paid.

4. Orders

• Placing an order is an offer to buy the products in your cart. Your order is only confirmed once it is paid in full. Unpaid orders are not prepared or delivered.
• Each order has an order number. You can follow its status on your order page and in your notifications.
• We or the Vendor may refuse or cancel an order if the product is unavailable, the price or description was wrong, we suspect fraud, delivery to your address isn't possible, or the order breaks the law or these Terms. If you had paid, you get a full refund (see our Refund Policy).
• There may be limits on how many items one order can contain, including for large items. The cart and checkout tell you when a limit applies.

5. Payment

You can pay by mobile money (MTN MoMo or Airtel Money) or from your TAP TAP MARKET wallet. Details are in our Payment Policy.

6. Delivery

Orders are delivered in Kigali by our sister service TAP TAP EXPRESS. You choose Normal or Express delivery at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Details are in our Delivery Policy.

7. Checking your order

Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, wrong, missing or clearly different from its description, tell the rider if you can, and contact us as soon as possible with photos. We will replace the item or refund you (see our Refund Policy).

8. Cancellations, refunds and returns

• Unpaid orders can be cancelled at any time from your order page.
• Paid orders can be cancelled only before they are prepared or handed over for delivery — contact Support as soon as possible, ideally within a few minutes of paying.
• Refunds and returns follow our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under Rwandan consumer law.

9. Warranties

Where a product comes with a manufacturer's or seller's warranty, its terms are shown on the product page or provided with the product. To make a claim we may ask for your order number, a description and photos of the fault, and to inspect the product.

10. Reviews and other content you post

You can rate and review products. Reviews must reflect your genuine experience and must not be false, abusive, defamatory, unlawful, or contain other people's personal information. We may hide or remove reviews that break these rules. By posting a review you allow us to show it on the Platform.

11. Your conduct

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
• give false information, or use someone else's account or payment details;
• try to get into accounts or systems you are not allowed into, or disrupt the Platform;
• copy the Platform's content or data automatically (for example with bots or scrapers);
• manipulate prices, promotions, reviews, orders or refunds.

12. Vendors

Shops that sell on the Platform must follow these Terms and the selling rules we give them when they join. They are responsible for the accuracy, quality, safety and legality of the products they list, and we remove listings that break the rules or the law.

13. Our content

The Platform's design, logos, text, pictures and software belong to TAP TAP CHINA Ltd or its licensors (including Vendors, for their own product content). You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

14. Limitation of liability

As far as Rwandan law allows:

• the Platform is provided "as is", and we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors;
• our liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order;
• we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Platform if you break these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if your account puts the Platform or other users at risk. You can stop using the Platform and ask us to delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy). Orders already paid for are still completed or refunded.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the new Terms. We tell you directly about important changes where we can.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Please contact Support first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we cannot, the dispute goes to the competent courts of Rwanda.
