Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how you pay for orders on TAP TAP MARKET (ttmarkett.com and the Market section of the TT Express app), operated by TAP TAP CHINA Ltd. It is part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. How you can pay

Mobile money payments are processed by our payment gateway, Paypack, and your mobile money operator. All prices and payments are in Rwandan francs (RWF). Cash on delivery is not available.

2. When your order counts as paid

• Your order is only confirmed and sent for preparation once it is paid in full.
• A mobile money payment shows as pending until your operator confirms it — usually within a minute of you approving the prompt. If you don't approve it, it fails and nothing is taken.
• If money left your account but your order still shows as unpaid after a few minutes, do not pay again. Contact Support with the transaction reference from your operator's SMS, and we will check it with our payment partner.

3. Paying the rest of an order

If an order is not fully paid (for example, a payment failed part-way), the order page shows the amount still due and a Pay now button. If you ever pay more than an order's total, the difference can be refunded (see our Refund Policy).

4. Your wallet

• Your wallet holds credit you can spend on TAP TAP MARKET. Money gets into it in two ways: top-ups you make by mobile money from your profile, and refunds you choose to receive as wallet credit.
• At checkout, choose Pay with Wallet. If your balance is too low, you can top up and pay in one step.
• Wallet credit cannot be withdrawn as cash or sent to another person, and it earns no interest.
• If you close your account while your wallet still holds money, we refund the balance to a mobile money number you give us.
• We may correct your balance if money was credited or debited in error, and we tell you when we do.

5. Security

• We never ask for your mobile money PIN, and we never receive it — you only enter it on your own phone.
• TAP TAP MARKET staff will never ask you to send money to a personal number. If someone does, don't pay, and report it to us.

6. Receipts

Every paid order has a receipt you can open from your order page and print or save as a PDF.
